Shasta was surrendered to Northside Pet Hospital back in xxxx after her owner passed away. She found a home after only being with us for a month and sadly now after two years in a new home, is back and once agian looking for a place to call home. She is an older cat who prefers to do things on her own terms. She would do better in a home with no other cats because she tends to have a dominate personlality and can sometimes cause problems if there are other cats in the house. However she does have a sensitive and sweet side to her too. She has just recently started to vocalize with the staff here and is begging for attention. As long as it is her idea she will let you pet her all over her body. When she has had enough she will start to swish her tail and sometimes even give you a quick pinch to let you know she has had enough. Dont let her fool you thou because she does have a motor that works too. We have all heard it. Shasta is overweight and will require special care to help her lose some weight.
